Villas Paraiso del Mar Holbox This beach hotel was opened in 2002 and renovated in 2006, and comprises a total of 36 rooms in lodges with one or two floors. The buildings are surrounded by green spaces and tropical plants. The hotel has an entrance hall with hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a cloakroom. In addition to this guests have access to laundry and room services, medical assistance, cycle hire for rides in the mountains and Internet access (WLAN). For guests' refreshment there is a restaurant and several bars. Some hotel facilities are disability-friendly. Location The hotel is located on Holbox Island, extremely close to the beach and just 2 minutes from the Plaza Principal and the town centre, with its various shopping amenities, bars and restaurants. Cancun International Airport is approximately 4 km from the hotel building. Rooms The spacious rooms have wood-covered roofs and separate entrances. They also all come with an en suite bath/ shower and hairdryer. In addition to this there is a satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a balcony or terrace, a safe, air conditioning, hammocks and king-size or double beds. Sport For a relaxing holiday with plenty of entertainment the hotel provides guests with an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace and poolside bar, as well as face and body massages. There are also facilities for diving and snorkelling available. Guests can play handball, volleyball and beach volleyball. Meals In the hotel's own restaurant, surrounded by green space, national dishes are served to the accompaniment of live music. In the lobby bar, the pool bar and the snack bar special drinks are served. Payment VISA and MasterCard are both accepted as methods of payment.
