Amara Sanctuary Amara Sanctuary sits on the site of the historic British Sergeants Quarters that were built in the 1930s. Two of the building are conserve colonial heritage buildings which now houses the Verandah and Courtyard suites. The resort has its own tennis court, jogging track and three outdoor pools. The roof-top infinity pool overlooking the ocean is reserved exclusively for adult guests. Be it for leisure, business or just a retreat away from the hectic city life. Location Located in 3.5 hectares of secluded tropical gardens on the hillside above Sentosa's popular Palawan Beach. About 4 mins walk to Palawan beach, 15 minutes drive from central business district and 5 mins drive to the latest Vivo Shopping Centre in the mainland. The rooms are designed in contemporary style, in a palette of beiges, creams and dark browns to blend in the resort's natural tropical setting. A sofa with maroon cushion position in front the full length window, a plasma television sit nicely on one end of the dark brown writing desk. The room has either a king size bed or 2 super single size beds and are equipped with coffee/tea making facilities, bathrobe and DVD player. Complimentary wired internet access available. The toilet is of good size has beige marble wall and flooring, black vanity top, long bath and separate shower area. The wardrobe is cleverly design with doors on both side, in the room and in the toilet. Restaurant Shutters, the resort's chick restaurant serves contemporary Asian and Western dishes. One could enjoyed authentic Thai cuisine at award winning Thanying. The 13-seat Sibon was formally a small chapel, offering Japanese kushiage and the seafood is available at Silk Road Of The Sea at the beach house.
