This historical country manor is situated amidst wonderful, rural surroundings, on the eastern fringe of the Highlands. The hotel is located on private grounds in Inverurie. Aberdeen Airport is around 30 km away. Links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot.Built in the year 1865 and renovated in 2004, this hotel comprises a total of 27 rooms spread over 3 floors of which 25 are double rooms and 2 are suites. The main building consists of a lobby with 24-hour reception and a cosy bar offering over a hundred different types of whisky. Throughout the house the walls are bedecked with portraits of the family who owns the property. There is also a restaurant and a public Internet terminal. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park or garage facilities. Finally, there are laundry and room services to round off the hotels offerings.The rooms are furnished with valuable antique pieces. All rooms include an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a TV, central heating, a direct dial telephone and Internet access.The nearest golf course is 7 km away. Activities are bookable on the estate, for example, clay pigeon shooting, mountian biking, quad biking or off-road driving.Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the Mither Tap Restaurant with locally sourced produce. The bar serves food during the day and tea and coffee is served in the drawing room. Private dining rooms are bookable for parties of up to 30 guests.
